When emergencies occur, most individuals
are not required to get involved to provide
assistance and treatment. One of the reasons
why individuals choose not to get involved is
due to their concern of liability and the
potential threat of being sued if they were to
do something wrong. Consequently, all fifty
(50) states and the District of Columbia (DC)
have their own Good Samaritan Laws and
legislation to protect good Samaritans.
Even though these laws exist to
protect Good Samaritans, they do not
necessarily guarantee protection from
litigation. Our courses will educate you about
the truth concerning Good Samaritans laws and
how they affect you.
