The
First Aid and Safety Training Institute is a
public service company which provides
fundamental basic level First Aid and Safety
training to members of the communities located
in Pennsylvania,Massachusetts, Maryland,
Virginia and West Virginia. We are also willing
to travel to other locations if requested to do
so.
The company's mission is to provide basic first
aid and safety related educational programs to
individuals as well as to businesses,
corporations, schools, health clubs and
restaurants.
Each of the specialized educational programs
and curruculums used by the First Aid and
Safety Training Institute are from nationally
recognized educational organizations. They
include (in alphabetical order): the American
Heart Association (AHA); the American Safety
& Health Institute (ASHI); and the
Emergency Care and Safety Institute (AAOS) who
are affiliated with the American College of
Emergency Physicians (ACEP).
The
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automated
External Defibrillator (AED), Basic First Aid
(BFA) as well as the other educational programs
offered are designed to meet the needs of just
about everyone in just about every type of
circumstance. This would inculde but is not
limited to: parents, children, students,
babysitter's, teachers, coaches and individuals
who like to find adventure outside in the
wilderness while camping, hiking, hunting or
any other sporting activities.
History / Background
The First Aid and Safety Training Institute and
was formed in 2010. The founder
of the company is a Nationally Registered
EMT-Paramedic with 30 years of experience in
the field of Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
and has been teaching Cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation (CPR), Basic First Aid and EMT
and Paramedic training since 1983 through other
educational and Emergency Medical Services
organizations.
While
teaching on our own and with other educational
organizations training has been provided in
Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New
Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode
Island, Virginia, and Washington, DC.
